Diagnostic Code Check
Access Diagnostic Mode: Navigate to the diagnostic menu on the monitor display.
Read Active and Logged Codes: Check for any Active or Logged Diagnostic Codes (CID/FMI codes). The presence of active codes, especially communication codes (like CID 0249 for CAN data link failure), indicates a connection problem.
Clear Logged Codes: If the only codes are logged from the previous fault, clear them. Then, cycle the key and check again. Any new active codes must be investigated using the SIS troubleshooting guide.
