Power-On and Visual Inspection
Reconnect Battery: Reconnect the positive battery cable first, followed by the negative cable. Tighten them to the specified torque.
Key-On, Engine-Off: Turn the key switch to the ON position. Do not start the engine.
Monitor Initialization: Observe the main monitor in the cab. It should power up without error codes. Listen for the fuel pump to prime.
Check for Smoke/Smell: Immediately look and smell for any signs of smoke or burning insulation, which would indicate a serious short circuit. If detected, turn the key off and disconnect the battery immediately.
