Routing the New Chassis Harness
Follow the Exact Path: Route the new harness exactly along the factory path. Use the old harness and existing clips/conduit holders on the machine as a guide.
Avoid Critical Areas: Ensure the harness is routed:
Away from sharp edges, welding seams, and burrs that could chafe the wires.
Away from high-heat sources like the exhaust manifold and turbocharger.
Clear of moving parts like the hydraulic cylinder rods, track mechanism, and fan blade.
Use Protective Conduit: If any sections of the new harness are not pre-protected, install split corrugated conduit or loom in areas where abrasion is possible.
