Removal of the Old Harness (if applicable)
Tag and Photograph: Before disconnecting any connector, take clear photographs of its location and orientation. Use tags or tape to label connectors if they are not uniquely keyed. This is invaluable during reinstallation.
Disconnect Methodically: Start by disconnecting the main multi-pin connectors (e.g., at the cab base, near the ECM box). Then, disconnect all ground straps, sensor connectors, and power leads (from the starter, alternator, battery).
Remove Securing Hardware: Carefully remove all cable ties, clamps, P-clips, and conduit anchors that secure the harness to the chassis. Avoid cutting the old harness until it is completely disconnected; use it as a guide for routing the new one.
This 234-1058 chassis harness is used for 325C 3126B excavator.
