Hard Spotting (Brinelling)
Causes:
Shock Loads: This is a major issue for the 345D. Examples include abrupt stops during swinging, dropping heavy loads, using the machine's momentum to break out material, or "pounding" with the hammer.
Improper Transport: Failing to lock the swing mechanism during transport allows the bearing to bounce and shock the raceways against the rolling elements.
Static Corrosion (Fretting): If the machine is parked for long periods without rotation, micro-vibrations can cause wear at the contact points.
This 227-6053 slewing bearing is used for 345D excavator.
