Daily/Pre-Operation Checks (Visual Inspection)
Check for Leaks: Inspect the cylinder rod, hose connections, and the barrel ends for any signs of external hydraulic oil leaks.
Inspect the Rod: Look for scores, scratches, pitting, or corrosion on the highly polished chrome piston rod. Even a small nick can damage the rod seals and cause leaks.
Check for Damage: Look for any dents or damage to the cylinder barrel, rod, or mounting points.
Check for Loose Mounts: Ensure the mounting pins and hardware are secure and properly greased.
