Bolt Check (Torque Inspection):
The slewing bearing is held in place by high-strength bolts that can loosen over time due to the immense stresses of operation.
Procedure: Periodically check the torque of the mounting bolts for both the upper and lower connections. This must be done according to the specified Caterpillar procedure, which often involves using a calibrated torque wrench.
Bolt Replacement: If any bolts are found to be loose or damaged, they must be replaced with genuine Caterpillar bolts of the correct grade. Do not reuse old, stretched bolts during major services.
This 267-6802 slewing bearing is used for 320D 323D 320D2 320C excavator.
