Mounting:
Alignment: Carefully position the aftercooler onto the engine. Do not use force, as this can damage the mounting flanges or the core.
Fasteners: Use the correct bolts, studs, and washers as specified in the Caterpillar service manual. Torque them in the correct sequence and to the specified value to ensure an even seal without warping the assembly.
