Tanks: Feature heavy-gauge steel or robust molded plastic end tanks designed to withstand constant vibration and internal pressure.
Fins: Corrugated fins are mechanically bonded to the flat tubes. This design creates a large surface area for heat transfer and provides significant structural strength to the entire core.
Pressurized System:
The cooling system is sealed with a pressure cap (usually a 7-15 psi rating). This pressurization raises the boiling point of the coolant, allowing it to absorb more engine heat without turning to vapor, dramatically increasing the cooling system's efficiency and capacity.
