The radiator in the Caterpillar 345B is a heavy-duty, core component of the machine's cooling system. It is engineered to handle the significant thermal load generated by the large-displacement diesel engine, ensuring reliable operation, preventing overheating, and maximizing the machine's longevity and efficiency on demanding job sites.
Part of a Tri-Core Cooling Package: Like most large excavators, the 345B features a Combined Cooling Module (CCM). The radiator is physically mounted together with the hydraulic oil cooler and the charge air cooler (intercooler). While each has separate cores for their respective fluids/air, they work in unison, cooled by a single large fan. This integrated design is extremely efficient and compact.
This 151-6592 radiator is used for 345B 3176C C9.3 excavator.
