Function: The fan speed is hydraulically controlled and varies based on coolant temperature, load, and sometimes hydraulic oil temperature. It only works as hard as needed, improving fuel efficiency and reducing noise.
Reversible Function: The operator can manually activate the fan reversal from the cab, or it can be programmed to activate automatically for short periods. This feature blows debris (dust, chaff, leaves) outward from the radiator core, effectively self-cleaning it and preventing clogging—a primary cause of overheating.
