Daily/Pre-Operation Inspection:
Visual Check: Look for signs of excessive wear, cracks, or bending on the pins and the surrounding linkage.
Retention Check: Ensure all retaining bolts are tight and lockplates are secure and not damaged.
Grease Seal Check: Inspect the dust seals at both ends of each pin. Damaged or missing seals will allow abrasive contaminants to enter, rapidly destroying the pin and bushing.
