Installation of the New Bushing:
Alignment: The new bushing must be perfectly aligned with the bore before pressing begins. Misalignment can cause galling, premature wear, or seizure.
Pressing Force: A controlled hydraulic press is used to press the bushing squarely into place. Using an arbor press or hammering is not recommended as it can deform the bushing or damage its inner surface.
Direction: The bushing is pressed in according to the manufacturer's specifications, typically with the flange seated against the linkage shoulder or in the designated orientation.
Lubrication: It is often recommended to lightly lubricate the outside of the bushing to ease installation, but this should be done according to the service manual.
This 240-2916 bushing is used for 325C excavator.
