Removal of Old Bushings:
Thoroughly clean the area around the pin and bushing.
Remove the retaining pins and use the hydraulic press to push the main pin out.
Once the pin is removed, use the press with the correct-sized mandrel to push the old bushing out. Never burn or cut out a bushing, as this can damage the housing bore.
Installation of New Bushings:
Inspection: Before installation, clean the housing bore in the link (e.g., boom, stick) thoroughly. Check for any scratches, burrs, or corrosion that could interfere with a proper press-fit.
Alignment: Ensure the new bushing is perfectly aligned with the housing bore. The grease hole in the bushing must be aligned with the grease fitting (zerk) hole in the link.
This 186-5590 bushing is used for 325C excavator.
