Monitoring for Wear and Failure:
Be vigilant for these signs of bushing wear or failure:
Excessive Play or "Slop": If you can see or feel noticeable movement or hear a "clunking" sound when operating the boom, stick, or bucket (especially when changing direction), it is a primary indicator that the bushings and likely the pins are worn.
Abnormal Noises: Squeaking, grinding, or knocking sounds from the linkage points often signal insufficient lubrication and advanced wear.
Reduced Control and Precision: Worn bushings make the machine feel sloppy and less responsive, affecting grading and fine digging accuracy.
Visible "Egg-Shaping": In advanced stages, the round bushing can wear into an oval shape ("egging"), which is a clear sign that replacement is urgently needed.
This 7Y-5102 bushing is used for 330C excavator.
