Pressing the New Bushing In:
Place the new bushing squarely into the housing.
Using the hydraulic press and the correct-sized driver (one that contacts the outer flange of the bushing, not the inner surface), press the bushing in straight and evenly.
Press until the bushing is fully seated against its shoulder. Do not stop halfway, as this can loosen the fit.
Final Steps:
After installation, check that the bushing is seated correctly and that the grease hole is aligned.
Before installing the pin, pack the cavity between the bushing and the pin with grease to provide immediate lubrication upon start-up.
Install the pin and secure it with retainers.
