Addressing Wear:
Bushings and pins should always be replaced as matched sets. Replacing a bushing and reusing a worn pin will cause the new bushing to fail prematurely.
Ignoring excessive wear leads to "hammering" on the linkage ears, which can cause catastrophic and expensive damage to the boom or stick.
