Daily Lubrication (The Most Important Task):
Use a high-quality, high-pressure grease specified by Caterpillar.
Before each shift, lubricate every pin and bushing joint on the front linkage (boom, stick, bucket) and the cylinder mounting points.
Proper Technique: Apply grease until you see fresh, clean grease purging out from the seals on both sides of the joint. This ensures the old, contaminated grease is flushed out and the entire cavity is filled.
Wipe away excess grease to prevent a "dirt magnet" buildup.
