Piston and Piston Rod:
Piston: Fitted inside the barrel, it separates the two pressure chambers (head end and rod end). It is equipped with piston seals (often polyurethane) that prevent high-pressure fluid from bypassing from one side of the piston to the other (internal leakage).
Piston Rod: A high-strength, hardened and chrome-plated steel rod. It connects to the piston inside the barrel and extends out to attach to the grader's linkage. The hard chrome plating is crucial for resisting abrasion, corrosion, and scoring, which protects the critical rod seal.
This 365-7416 blade lift cylinder is used for 16 16M 16M3 18 18M3 motor grader.
