Removal of the Old Harness (if applicable):
Documentation is Paramount: This is the most critical step. Take extensive photographs and videos of the entire harness route, every connector, and every ground strap location. Label each connector with a unique tag.
Disconnect from Major Components:
Start by disconnecting the large bulkhead connectors to the Cab Harness and Front Frame Harness.
Disconnect all connections to the ECMs, battery relays, sensors along the frame, and the starter/alternator.
