Removal of the Old Harness (if applicable):

Documentation is Critical: Before disconnecting anything, take extensive photographs and/or videos of the entire harness routing and every connection point. Label each connector with tape and a marker if necessary.

Disconnect Components: Systematically unplug every connector. Press the locking tab fully before pulling the connector apart. Never pull on the wires themselves.

Unbolt Grounds and Mounts: Remove the bolts for the main ground straps and all the clips, brackets, and P-clamps holding the harness to the frame.

Disconnect from Main Dressing Block: The front frame harness typically connects to the cab/main harness via one or two large, multi-pin "dressing block" connectors near the engine's rear. Carefully unbolt and separate these.
