High-Temperature Resistance: The harness is specifically designed to withstand the extreme heat generated in the engine bay. Wires are insulated with materials like cross-linked polyethylene that resist melting and degradation.
Abrasion and Chemical Resistance: The outer conduit or loom is resistant to abrasion from vibration and contact with other components. It is also resistant to oil, fuel, coolant, and other chemicals common in an engine compartment.
Shielding: Critical low-voltage signal circuits (e.g., from the crankshaft sensor) are often individually shielded within the harness to protect them from electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by the alternator and injector solenoids. This ensures clean signal data for the ECM.
This 235-0576 engine harness is used for 950GII 960GII wheel loader.
