Inspect Connectors: Before connecting, ensure all connector housings are clean, and the pins/sockets are straight and undamaged.

Verify Seals: Confirm that the orange primary seal and black secondary seal are correctly seated in every connector.

Connect Methodically:
Start from one end of the machine (e.g., the engine) and work your way to the other (e.g., the cab base).
Push connectors together firmly until the audible "click" is heard, confirming the locking mechanism is fully engaged. Tug gently on the connector to ensure it is locked.

Grounding Points: Pay special attention to ground connections (typically wires with ring terminals bolted to the frame or engine block). Clean the contact surface to bare metal to ensure a perfect electrical ground. Torque the bolt to the specification provided in the service manual.
