Scheduled Visual Inspections:
Frequency: Perform a thorough visual inspection every 250 to 500 service hours or as part of routine maintenance schedules.
What to Look For:
Abrasion or Cuts: Check for areas where the conduit is rubbing against the frame or other components.
Crushed or Pinched Sections: Look for damage from misplaced tools or dropped objects.
Brittleness or Cracking: Inspect the conduit for dryness or cracking caused by heat, oil, or UV exposure.
Loose or Corroded Connectors: Check for connectors that are not fully seated, have broken locks, or show signs of moisture ingress (green/white corrosion).
Loose Mounting Clamps: Ensure all clamps are tight and the harness is not hanging loosely, which can lead to vibration damage.
