Preparation and Removal of the Old Harness:
* Relieve Fuel System Pressure: Locate the fuel pressure relief valve on the fuel filter housing or fuel rail. Slowly turn it counterclockwise to relieve pressure. Have rags ready to absorb any spilled fuel.
* Disconnect Batteries: Disconnect the negative (-) battery cables to prevent any chance of short circuits or accidental injector activation.
* Locate and Access: The injector harness is located on the top of the engine, running along the valve cover and connecting to each injector. Remove any engine covers, air piping, or other components necessary to gain clear and safe access to the entire harness.
* Documentation: Take a photo of the harness routing and connections before disassembly. Note how it is secured with clamps or clips.
This 153-8920 injector harness is used for 325C excavator.
