Intermittent Faults: These are often the most challenging. They are frequently caused by:
Broken Wires: Inside insulation due to fatigue, often at connector backshells or clamp points.
Corroded Pins: In connectors, leading to high resistance.
Loose Grounds.
Multiple/Unexplained Diagnostic Codes: A single failing ground point or a problem with the sensor power supply circuit from an ECM can cause a cascade of seemingly unrelated codes in Cat ET.
Machine Dead/No Start: Focus on the main power feed from the battery disconnects and relays to the platform harness.
