Loading: The truck is loaded with material (e.g., wet clay, rock, sand, abrasive waste). The ejector plate is positioned at the front of the body.
Positioning for Dumping: The truck reverses into the dump area. The main hoist cylinders lift the rear of the body to a relatively shallow angle (compared to a standard dump truck). This is often just enough to ensure the tailgate clears the ground and material can flow out.
Ejection Cycle Initiation: The operator engages the ejector system. Hydraulic pressure is directed to the ejector cylinder(s).
Linear Force Application: The ejector cylinder extends in a straight line. This linear motion is transferred to the ejector plate via a strong, structural push frame.
