Keep it Clean
Before and after greasing, remove dirt, mud, and debris from the top and bottom of the bearing and the seal areas. Accumulated debris can trap moisture, cause corrosion, and damage the seals.
Prevent Water and Contaminant Ingress
Avoid pressure washing directly onto the slewing bearing seals.
When working in wet conditions or fording water, grease the bearing immediately afterward to help purge any moisture that may have entered.
