Slide-Out Tray for Easy Servicing
This is a hallmark of Caterpillar's design for serviceability.
The entire radiator core group is mounted on a sliding tray.
To access it for cleaning or repair, the operator simply:
Drains the coolant and other fluids.
Removes the front grille and any guards.
Disconnects the hoses and electrical connections (designed with quick-disconnects).
Removes a few retaining bolts.
Slides the entire module straight forward out of the machine.
