Charge Air Cooling (Integrated Charge Air Cooler - CAC):
The radiator assembly includes a Charge Air Cooler (CAC), or intercooler, mounted in front of the main radiator.
Function: It cools the hot, compressed air from the turbocharger before it enters the engine's cylinders.
Benefit: Cooler intake air is denser, containing more oxygen. This allows for more efficient combustion, which results in increased engine power, reduced fuel consumption, and lower emissions (e.g., NOx).
This 423-4019 radiator is used for 330D2 326D2 C7.1 excavator.
