Combined Cooling Module (CCM) - "Stacked Core" Design:
Integrated System: Like most modern excavators, the 307D does not have a standalone radiator. It features a Combined Cooling Module (CCM) where the major heat exchangers are stacked together. From front to back (air inlet side to fan side), this module typically includes:
Charge Air Cooler (CAC): Cools the hot, compressed air from the turbocharger before it enters the engine intake, increasing air density and combustion efficiency.
Radiator (Engine Coolant): The main heat exchanger for the engine's ethylene glycol coolant.
Hydraulic Oil Cooler: Cools the hydraulic fluid that has been heated by the pumps, valves, and cylinders during work operations.
Air Conditioner Condenser (if equipped): Often mounted in front of the entire stack.
This 298-1226 radiator is used for 307D excavator.
