Integrated Lubrication System:
Most pins on the 349D feature centralized greasing passages. A zerk fitting on the end of the pin allows grease to be pumped through internal channels to distribute lubricant evenly between the pin and its bushing.
This design is crucial for purging contaminants and preventing metal-on-metal contact, which is the primary cause of premature wear ("pinning").
