Sealed and Lubricated Design (SALT/Lube): Most modern D6R configurations feature Sealed and Lubricated Track (SALT) bushings. This is a key characteristic:
Internal Lubrication: A grease reservoir is created between the pin and the bushing, reducing internal friction and wear at the pivotal rotating point.
Seals: High-quality seals at each end prevent grease from escaping and, more importantly, keep abrasive contaminants (dirt, sand, mud) from entering the pin/bushing interface. This dramatically extends service life.
