The critical feature is the through-hardening process. Unlike case-hardening (which only hardens the surface), through-hardening creates a uniform, high level of hardness throughout the entire thickness of the bushing. This provides superior resistance to wear, brinelling (indentation from shock loads), and cracking, ensuring a much longer service life.
