Bushings are installed in the linkage and front linkage system of the 345D, specifically at the connection points of:

Boom to Mainframe: The boom foot bushings allow the entire upper structure to pivot the boom up and down. These bushings endure tremendous loads from digging and lifting.
Boom to Stick (Arm): These bushings facilitate the in-and-out motion of the stick. They are subject to high impact forces, especially during trenching and breakout.
Stick to Bucket: The bucket link and control link bushings enable the curling and dumping action of the bucket. They are constantly exposed to abrasive wear from material ingress and shock loads.
