Like many modern Cat excavators, the 336D often features a Sealed and Lubricated system. The bushings work in conjunction with seals to create a cavity that traps grease around the pin. This design provides superior lubrication and better protection against contaminant ingress compared to older, open designs, leading to longer life for both the bushing and the pin.
