Pressing the New Bushing In:
Apply a thin, uniform layer of clean grease to the outside of the new bushing and the housing bore. This aids installation and prevents corrosion.
Align the bushing squarely with the bore.
Using the press and the correct driver tool, press the bushing in slowly and evenly. Ensure it goes in straight without cocking. Stop when it is fully seated against the shoulder.
This 186-5690 bushing is used for 385C 5090B excavator.
