Massive Bore and Rod Diameter: This cylinder is designed with a very large internal diameter (bore) and an exceptionally robust piston rod. This is necessary to generate the immense force required to lift the loaded ripper and to withstand the incredible shock loads transmitted when a shank strikes a buried rock or hard seam.
High-Strength Materials: The cylinder barrel is constructed from high-strength, seamless steel tubing. Critical components like the piston and gland are made from forged steel to handle extreme stress without failure. The piston rod is a high-tensile strength steel bar.
