Heavy-Duty Wiper/Scraper Seal: The first and most important line of defense. It is designed to be aggressive, scraping caked mud, rocks, and abrasive material off the rod as it retracts. This prevents contaminants from being drawn into the cylinder, which would quickly destroy the internal seals and score the rod.
High-Performance Rod Seal: The main seal that contains the high-pressure hydraulic fluid inside the cylinder. It is designed for minimal leakage and long life despite constant movement and pressure changes.
