Daily/Pre-Shift Inspection (Visual Check)
Leakage: This is the first sign of wear. meticulously check for hydraulic oil leaks:
Rod Seal (Gland Seal): Look for oil collecting around the gland nut where the rod enters the cylinder. Even a slight weep can turn into a major leak quickly.
Cylinder Barrel and Head: Check for leaks from the main body or where the head connects to the barrel.
Hydraulic Hoses and Fittings: Inspect the hoses leading to the cylinder for cracks, abrasions, and leaks at the fittings. These are highly vulnerable to damage from debris.
