External Rod Damage: The most common failure point. Scratches or scoring on the chrome rod surface, caused by a failed wiper seal allowing abrasive material into the gland, will quickly destroy the main rod seal and cause hydraulic oil leakage.
Seal Failure:
Internal Leakage: Worn piston seals allow oil to bypass the piston. This manifests as an inability to hold a set tilt angle—the blade will slowly "drift" back to a neutral position under load.
External Leakage: Failed rod or gland seals cause visible hydraulic oil leaks.
This 1U-4744 tilt cylinder is used for 814F 816F 814B 816B 815F 815B wheel dozer.
