Worn or Seized Mounting Pins and Bushings: Due to the pivoting motion and high side loads, the pins and bushings are prone to wear. Worn pins cause slop and poor blade control, while seized pins can prevent the cylinder from articulating properly, leading to bending or other damage.
Bent Piston Rod: Typically caused by a severe impact or misuse, such as hitting a solid obstacle with the corner of the blade while it is fully tilted. A bent rod will damage the barrel and gland and cause rapid seal failure.
This 1U-1988 tilt cylinder is used for 815B 815F 815FII wheel dozer.
